Jan 2012 -- Some of our children are reunited with relatives, we enjoy a joyous Christmas together, and construction continues on the buildings on our own land!

Sept 2011 -- Two new babies, two visitors to Wyoming, two new buildings under construction and far more than two major gifts towards our new campus.
July 2011 -- A new matching funds campaign from the kids at Dream of a Better World. William is valedictorian at Bible college and the kids go to a carnival!
May 2011 -- Allan is found abandoned in the Kampala Taxi Park and brought to Our Own Home. Blueprints are ready for our new campus!
April 2011 -- Our Own Home enjoys a blessed Easter! 18-month old Micah joins our number and our architect begins design work for our new campus buildings.
February 2011 -- God provides "Our Own Land"! Now we will begin to build our own campus to replace our leased homes. 7-month old Kevin arrives.
January 2011 -- Becca was often neglected and alone...only 3, she was sick with AIDS. Her parents dead, she was in the care of weak an elderly grandparents.
December 2010 -- Our Christmas gifts are Ishmael & Nathan. Your faithfulness provides our own land and clinic. Thank you!!!
November 2010 -- Dream of a Better World provides a generous matching gifts offer for our Building Campaign. Haruna and Sharon move ahead in school.

August 2010 -- Arafat's story...Holly, William & Israel return home from a trip to the US visiting family and many special friends of Our Own Home.
July 2010 -- Dandaire, an orphan rescued from the slums of Masese, meets his American sponsor when she visits Our Own Home

March 2010 -- Willliam loses his father, but gains a son as Holly gives birth to their first child. Fourteen of our children are baptized.
January 2010-- Back to school for the kids and an update on "our own school". Miracle babies Angelina and Elijah thrive, but sweet Lydia continues to struggle.
December 2009 -- We celebrated a wonderful Christmas and New Year thanks to all of our generous friends. The children share what they are thankful for.
November 2009 -- Angelina's story and another child born into poverty. Pray for Lydia Kyaterekera who is struggling in her fight against AIDS caused infections.
October 2009 - Joshua, age 2, undernourished and fighting TB, comes to Our Own Home. We open our own school and begin the journey to acquire land.
September 2009 -- Pray for Lydia's recovery from appendicitis, we enjoy a swimming trip and amusement park...a malnourished child is placed in our care.
August 2009 -- Faizal needs your prayers for healing from a liver infection, Holly and William return home from a visit to the US that included Yellowstone
July 2009 -- Leticia has a new home, Daddy William makes his first trip to the US as Holly and William will spend a few weeks visiting with family and friends
June 2009 -- This month I want to share with you two stories of survival -- two babies who almost didn’t survive, Gloria & Pius.
May 2009 -- People often ask, “How much does it cost to operate Our Own Home?” Here are some answers with (apologies to MasterCard!)…
April 2009 -- Three new children arrive...Daphine, 3, Sheila 5 and Arafat, 10. Please pray especially for Arafat as he strives to recover from malnutrition.
March 2009 - Josiah arrives, the children write to their Horizon International sponsors, and we begin another another van campaign for our growing number.
February 2009 - Our precious Jackie succumbs to leukemia and malaria, we open a second home adding babies and little 2-year-old Elijah is our first
January 2009 - Jackie's story, a very Merry Christmas, and God provides the home needed to begin the baby's home...thanks to all our wonderful donors!
December 2008 - OOH 1st anniversary celebrated, Kampala Christmas cantata, volunteer teacher needed, still searching for a larger facility
November 2008 - Thanksgiving for so many things while the children anticipate Christmas, more than "cockroaches", larger housing prospects
October 2008- Mommy Holly's exciting homecoming, "Our Own Home Band" sings praises, searching for a larger home, Horizon International a new partner
September 2008 - We have our VAN! Many, many thanks to our generous donors! Auntie Beri visits and brings new clothes.
August 2008 - Aunt Jessica and Uncle Ben visit again, the older children participate in True Love Waits, Mommy Holly visits the states
July 2008 - Plans underway for Pius eye surgery, plans proceeding for bring in babies, Holly and William marry on the shores of Lake Victoria
June 2008 - God leads us to to open a second home. This one for babies with HIV/AIDS.
May 2008 - Playing in the rain, prayers for Pious, Gordon's story, Mommy Holly announces engagement to William Pheni!
April 2008 - Lydia is rescued, Jackson is healing, Nurse Jessica visits, God's people provide for a 15-passenger van
